Our watches do not come out of an anonymous warehouse. They are assembled, regulated and inspected one by one in our workshop in Provence, a few kilometres from Avignon. Seiko movement fitted by hand, accuracy verified on a timegrapher, water resistance tested: every watch passes through our hands before it reaches yours.

What is a Seiko Mod watch?

A Seiko Mod watch is a Seiko, vintage or recent, customised and modified to your taste. At Austral we turn quality bases into one-off pieces: dial, hands, bezel, strap… Every Mod is a bespoke creation that reflects your style.

Where and how are your watches made?

All our watches are assembled by hand in our French workshop, in the heart of the Vaucluse, near Avignon. Our watchmaker fits every component, regulates the movement and inspects the piece before shipping. Every watch passes through our hands before it reaches yours.

What kinds of watches do you offer?

Three families:

  • Seiko Mod — our custom creations inspired by the great classics: Submariner, Daytona, Nautilus, Royal Oak, Datejust, Seamaster, GMT…
  • Vintage watches — genuine pieces (Seiko, Citizen, Orient) with a history of their own.
  • Accessories — straps, dials, cases and components to round out your collection.
Are your watches reliable and water resistant?

Yes, and it is verified piece by piece. Every Japanese Seiko movement (NH35 and derivatives) is regulated on a timegrapher to an accuracy of ±5 seconds a day maximum. Every case is then pressure-tested before shipping — some models withstand up to 200 m. 316L steel and scratch-resistant anti-reflective sapphire: every component is chosen for its reliability.

What warranty do you offer?

All our watches carry a 2-year warranty. And to give you time to decide, you also get a 14-day money-back guarantee: if the watch does not suit you, send it back and we refund you.

What are the delivery times and costs?

We ship to 48 countries from our workshop in Provence, always with tracked parcels. Times and costs are calculated automatically at checkout, based on your location:

  • European Union — fast, secure delivery.
  • United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea… — international shipping with tracking.
Which payment methods do you accept?

All our payments are secure and encrypted: bank cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay and PayPal. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
