How to use your brand-new Seiko Mod watch!

⚠️ CAUTION !⚠️ The crown is screw-down and must be unscrewed before you can access the settings.

The crown positions on your Seiko Mod

The crown on Seiko automatic watches generally has 3 positions:

• Normal position: winding.
• Position 1, pull the crown out gently: changing the date. (the seconds hand keeps running)
• Position 2, pull the crown to the second click: changing the time. (the seconds hand stops)

How do you wind a Seiko Mod watch?

To wind your Seiko Mod properly, and with the respect the piece in your hands deserves, it is simple:

• Set the crown to its normal position.
• Turn it upwards between your thumb and index finger (clockwise — handy!)
• About thirty turns will wind your watch fully.

How do you keep your Seiko Mod in good condition?

-Do not put the Seiko Mod under water while the crown is unlocked.

-Wipe away moisture, perspiration and dirt with a soft cloth.

-If the watch has been exposed to sea water, remember to rinse it with clean water and dry it carefully.
Do not hold the watch directly under a running tap. Put some water in a bowl first, then immerse the watch to wash it.
